Trip Summary

Upper river temperature 64 degrees. Shallow water bass are still available. However, size of the fish is much smaller. Morning walleye bite was just not there, no fish taken on plugs, and only 1 walleye taken on worm harnesses. Hard west wind made drifting difficult

River temperature 39° winds east at 7 miles an hour. Water color near perfect brown trout hit plugs mid river steelhead hit beads and eggs in the upper sections of the river.

Heavy west winds, but the fishing was incredible. Water color was a chalky green, and the water temperature was 48.6 degrees. Plenty of steelhead, lake trout, and brown trout . Bead bite is all we needed to crush fish today.
