We fished from 6:30 in the morning until around 10:30 in the morning. Walleye bite was great on the lake, but that bite was short-lived. Once that slowed, we focused our attention on smallmouth bass, that bite was good. We were able to get off the water before the extreme heat wave came in. Water temperature, seventy one degrees lake and river were both flat calm with no wind.
