Trip Summary

The good news is that the river is cooling faster than in previous weeks. Today's water temperature was 60.4°. Big Northwest winds gave fish a pretty bad case of lockjaw plugs, which took more fish than live bait. No trout were hooked today

River temperature 39° winds east at 7 miles an hour. Water color near perfect brown trout hit plugs mid river steelhead hit beads and eggs in the upper sections of the river.

Heavy west winds, but the fishing was incredible. Water color was a chalky green, and the water temperature was 48.6 degrees. Plenty of steelhead, lake trout, and brown trout . Bead bite is all we needed to crush fish today.
