Like clockwork , the annual migration of Flounder from the ocean into the Marsh is in full swing , along with occassional Redfish and Speckled trout amd Grey Trout . Shark fishing will pick up this Month as well as Spanish Mackerel .

Our first stop on the shallows was just to take a quick look before heading to our primary fishing spot. As we pulled up tgere were swirls all around a large oyster bar so I decided to try it for a few minutes . It didn’t take long before we boated our first Red. Then we had a drag screamer and then a small Flounder and stingray . Our next stop had a couple nice fish and then it slowed down as the tide got higher . We still managed to pick at some small Flounder and Bluefish though

It has been a beautiful Fall and I took a busman’s holdiay and went searching for Redfish in the creeks today and we found them ! Caught a nice Redfish or two at each spot we tried in the morning , then when the tide got right , we tried my favorite honey hole way back in the marsh and the Reds were waiting ! Doubked up on 18-19” fosh witg my buddy Briggs . Tgen the bite died off so we slid a couple hundred feet further up the creeks thinking the fish were moving shallow . We then proceeded to catch 10 or 12 nice reds up to 24”s in a foot of water . It was a ball and tge fishing should get better all Fall and winter with Speckled Trout turning in numbers .
