We live bayybbbie!!! We set sail rite before dark for a short run to our first spot. We got everything set up and resdy to roll. Just as the sun started to crack and you could see your cork, we started throwing. I had one guy on live shrimp and one on a soft plastic, both under a cork. I was throwing a topwater bait just to pass the time since these guys are avid fishermen and didn't need my help. ? Either way, it was on fire! 30 beautiful speckled trout filled the box fairly quick. So quick actually, they told me to go in and treated me to breakfast at the best breakfast place in st. Benard parish. (Parish Diner) Guys and gals of all ages, this is a late fall/winter, this fishing will last like this for a hott while now.
