Here are a few pictures from recent trips over the last several weeks! We have had a blast so far this fall and are excited to keep up the catching. From Redfish to Sheepshead the inshore action has been great. We have been using a micture if live finger mullet, shrimp, and cut bait to entice a bite. If youre looking to get in on the best time of year to fish the next two months are gonna be great.

Labor day weekend 2025 did not have the prettiest weather but the fish sure didnt mind it. One day we battled the rain the next day we had the wind. Despite these tough conditions we found hungry fish and capitalized on the bite. The infamous bull reds are finding their way into the river and should start gathering in larger schools. The next few moths will be prime redfish season with a good chance at catching breeders up to 50” long. The slot sized fish are also geared in on the shrimp amd mulltet run and have been feeding well. Over the weekends trips we managed to catch several other species on shrimp including flounder, black drum, speckled trout, mangrove snapper, and jack crevalle. Fall is starting to show its self and the fish are biting.

As I drove to the boat ramp pre-dawn the rain bands were on and off making me question the decision on fishing that morning. As I pulled into the parking lot the sunlight began to creep over the horizon and the rain stopped abruptly. The tide was high and flooding slightly so we went looking for places to fish float rigs. We had beautiful conditions with slightly overcast skies and a light breeze. We found success quickly catching several nice speckled trout from 19” to 25”. The largest trout was released to continue to spawn and reproduce. We also caught a large jack crevalle that fought us hard on our light tackle setups. The tropical storms are around and the weather has changed. I expect great inshore fishing this next few weeks heading into early fall fishing.
