Had a full day trip and left the harbor water was 58 degrees. Out front inshore 63 degrees for 1 Calico Bass so off to the 14 mile bank for 1 small Mako Shark. Slow day. Hopefully tomorrow the cold water temps bounce back and start warming for awesome action like yesterday! Its been really good for over a month. The wind only blew at 25 Knotts for about 6 hours last night and it picked up this afternoon. Tomorrow's fishing and water temps are to be determined. Catalina fishing is the same as the local right now.

It's still fishing so sometimes you don't get the fish or sharks but this time of year - summer and early fall- you have a great chance.
