Trip Summary

Today was one of those perfect days out on the water here in South Padre Island, TX. The sun was shining, the winds were light, and the fish were biting. Justin Granger and his buddy joined us for our 5 Hour (PM) Bay Fishing Trip, and we were all eager to get out and see what we could find. As soon as we set out, the rods started bending. The Red Drum (also known as Red Fish) were really fired up, hitting our live baits and jigs hard. We had a blast battling those strong, acrobatic fish, watching them dance on the surface before we carefully brought them aboard. The Spotted Seatrout were also in a feeding mood, and we managed to hook into some nice ones using a mix of techniques like drifting and light tackle. It was nonstop action, with both anglers staying busy the entire time. By the time we headed back in, the cooler was nicely stocked with a great mix of fish. But the real highlight was just being out there, enjoying the beautiful bay waters and having a ton of fun in the process. That's what these South Padre Island fishing trips are all about – getting out, connecting with nature, and creating lasting memories, whether you're a seasoned angler or just looking to try something new. Half Day Morning Bay Trip: Solid Redfish
Half Day Morning Bay Trip: Solid Redfish
September 5, 2025
Ruben and their crew joined us for an early morning fall trip with clear conditions throughout the day. The weather stayed consistent, giving us solid conditions to work with on the water. We headed out with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures for their 1/2 Day Morning Bay Fishing Trip. We focused on bottom fishing, casting with lures, and bait fishing to target the redfish that frequent these waters. The combination of techniques worked well, and we managed to connect with some redfish during our time out there. These methods are reliable in this area because they cover different parts of the water column and give us multiple ways to present bait to the fish. We wrapped up the morning with some solid action and good times on the water. If you're looking to get out on the water for some quality fishing action, Today We Fish Charter and Adventures has you covered with our 1/2 Day Morning Bay Fishing Trip. We specialize in bottom fishing, casting with lures, and bait fishing techniques that consistently produce results for redfish and other species in these productive waters.
