With a light mist in the air we stop at the bait dock for do really great Chovy’s for bait. We then headed south for .40 minutes and started fishing for Rockcod. After trying 3 spots They two really nice Rockcod and some Sand dabs. We had dinner so we moved in shore to catch Calico Bass. Well the Brithday boy Hunter. Caught the biggest Calico over 17” we have seennin a really long time. Then back it up with the second large Calico of the day. It was the biggest fish he has every caught. A fun family to fish with.
