Trip Summary

It was a beautiful, partly cloudy morning when we set out on our 5 Hour (AM)Fishing Trip with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures down in South Padre Island, TX. The water was in great condition, and you could feel the excitement in the air as we headed out with our group of three. May is a prime time for a variety of fishing opportunities around these parts, and we were eager to see what the day had in store. As soon as we got our lines in the water, the action started heating up. We worked a mix of jigging, light tackle, and drift fishing techniques, covering different depths and structures to find where the fish were holding. It didn't take long before the rods started bending, and we started hauling in some nice Spotted SeaTrout. These fish are a real blast to catch, putting up a strong, acrobatic fight that had us all cheering. The bites stayed consistent throughout the trip, and we managed to land several more quality Spotted SeaTrout to round out our catch. Between the great fishing and the beautiful scenery, it was just an all-around fun day on the water. The weather was perfect, the company was awesome, and there's nothing quite like the thrill of feeling that sudden tug on the line and setting the hook. South Padre Island really is a special place for fishing, and it's always a pleasure to be able to share these experiences with anglers who are just as passionate about it as we are. Half Day Morning Bay Trip: Solid Redfish
September 5, 2025
Ruben and their crew joined us for an early morning fall trip with clear conditions throughout the day. The weather stayed consistent, giving us solid conditions to work with on the water. We headed out with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures for their 1/2 Day Morning Bay Fishing Trip. We focused on bottom fishing, casting with lures, and bait fishing to target the redfish that frequent these waters. The combination of techniques worked well, and we managed to connect with some redfish during our time out there. These methods are reliable in this area because they cover different parts of the water column and give us multiple ways to present bait to the fish. We wrapped up the morning with some solid action and good times on the water.
