Trip Summary
Trip Summary
What a morning we had out on the water with Lee, Daniel and Caiden! We set out from South Padre Island, TX, for a 3 Hour (AM) Bay Fishing Trip with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures, and it was a blast from start to finish.
May is a prime time for fishing around these parts, with the waters warming up and the Spotted Seatrout becoming quite active. When we hit the bay, the conditions were just about perfect - the clouds were starting to clear, and we had great water to work with. We wasted no time getting our lines in and covering some ground, trying different techniques like jigging, popping light tackle, and drift fishing to see what the fish were responding to.
It didn't take long before the rods started bending, and we had some solid Spotted Sea trout hitting our baits. These fish really put up a great fight, making strong runs and keeping us on our toes. We managed to land a few nice ones, and it was awesome seeing the excitement on Romana's face as they reeled them in. In between the Weakfish action, we also saw some other species move through, but the Spotted Sea trout were definitely the stars of the show.
The whole trip had such a fun, relaxed vibe to it. The crew were fantastic company, and we shared plenty of laughs out on the water. Even when the bite slowed down a bit, we just took in the scenery and enjoyed being out on the bay. That's what makes these trips so special - sure, the fishing action is awesome, but it's the overall experience that really makes it unforgettable. If you're looking to get out on the water in South Padre Island, TX and chase some incredible Spotted Sea Trout, I can't recommend the 3 Hour (AM) Bay Fishing Trip with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures enough. We'll make sure you have a blast from start to finish!
