It was a wet morning with alot of mist coming down but its didnt stop us from making a great run on a 2 hour charter. Ended up limiting out on Vermillions. With the water and weather showing some signs of improvement, this should be a great indicator for whats to come. Get on the water and catch some fish!

Went out for a few hours to look for some bass that wanted to bite. The water is still colder than we’d like for this time of year but we found some fish willing to bite. We ended up catching and releasing over 20 mixed grade calicos and sand bass. Most were in the range if 13” - 16” fish. Hopefully we see some consistent nice weather to help the fish get more active.

Went on out Thursday night with a few hoop nets and some rods. We were planning to put hoop nets out and spend most of our time fishing bass. Unfortunately, the harbor currently has a strong red tide and the bite was very tough. The lobster crawl was also very tough but we still managed to land about 25 rock crab and 1 legal lobster. All in all, a great time on the water.
