Trip Summary

On May 26th, a couple went out early for a 6-hour fishing trip that started at 8am. The ocean was calm, and the weather was clear and sunny, making it a perfect day to be out on the water. We used a mix of live bait, artificial bait, and trolling to catch fish. These different methods worked really well throughout the day. By the end of the trip, they had caught a total of 10 mahi mahis. The mahi mahi season is getting stronger, and more and more fish are being caught, which means it’s a great time for fishing. The couple enjoyed the steady action and beautiful surroundings, making their trip both fun and successful. They left the water happy and excited to go fishing again soon.

On July 5th, we welcomed a wonderful couple from Texas and Ireland for their very first time fishing in the Caribbean. They joined us for a 4-hour private fishing charter starting at 12:30 PM, with one goal in mind—catching mahi mahi. Conditions couldn’t have been better, with a calm, flat sea making for a smooth and enjoyable ride. We used trolling techniques with live ballyhoo as bait, and it paid off. Not only did they land a beautiful mahi mahi, but they also reeled in a barracuda, adding even more excitement to their day on the water. It was a perfect afternoon of firsts, fun, and fresh catches!

On the morning of July 4th, a fantastic American family of four headed out for a 4-hour fishing trip, starting at 7 AM. The ocean was perfectly calm — classic summer conditions — making it a smooth and enjoyable ride for everyone onboard. The group had a great time using a mix of trolling, live bait, and artificial lures to bring in an exciting catch. Mahi Mahi season is in full swing, and they didn’t disappoint — landing some beautiful dorado throughout the trip. As a bonus, they also hooked a solid barracuda, a surprise addition that added to the excitement! It was a great way for this American family to spend the 4th of July — enjoying fun, fresh air, and plenty of action on the water. A memorable morning filled with smiles and success!
