Left Gloucester early to get bait. Mackerel were scarce but we got a half dozen off to the tuna spot. Half way there Capt John spots some mackerel moves up up along them , everybody got a triple getting is enough bait. Finished our trip out Saw 10 or so boats . Captovrd the boat around got his spot and had the anchor set. Right where he wanted, started to set out the gear and a few mark came across the screen. They were the only mark we saw all day. Fished thru the tide change no action. We decided to go haddock fishing. Moved about 3 miles set the anchor , first drop keeper haddock, then a few more. Really nice ,20- 22 inch fish. Went out on the hills and immediately caught a big cod then a few more. Time to try for haddock Ran out a few more mile found the deep water . Des and wind were calm so we drifted. Caught a great number of haddock, there were some throw backs . Got some nice big redfish. Was a super day with great folks from Texas

The blue took off like a tuna taking almost 75 yds of line turn ran at the boat. Chris gets the line back then the blue turned and took another 50 yds. Chris pumped and finely got the big blue to the boat and the fish was released
