Trip Summary

What a day out on the water! I had the pleasure of guiding Timothy and their crew on a 5-Hour Fishing Trip down here in South Padre Island, TX. June is a prime time for fishing in these parts, with warmer waters drawing in all kinds of gamefish. We met up bright and early at 7 AM and wasted no time getting the lines in the water. We started by working some deep spots, using a combination of jigging and light tackle to target the Spotted Trout. The bite was steady, and it didn't take long before we had our first fish on the line. The crew was loving it, cheering each time someone set the hook. We kept that up for a while, mixing in some drift fishing to cover more ground. The partly cloudy skies and great water conditions made for a comfortable and productive day. As the morning progressed, the action just kept getting better. We boated a nice mix of Spotted Trout, landing some real quality fish. The crew was having a blast, high-fiving after each catch and swapping stories. That's what I love most about these trips—it's not just about the fishing, but the shared experience of being out on the water, surrounded by good company and great scenery. If you're looking to get in on some incredible fishing down in South Padre Island, TX, I'd highly recommend booking a trip with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures. Half Day Morning Bay Trip: Solid Redfish
Half Day Morning Bay Trip: Solid Redfish
September 5, 2025
Ruben and their crew joined us for an early morning fall trip with clear conditions throughout the day. The weather stayed consistent, giving us solid conditions to work with on the water. We headed out with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures for their 1/2 Day Morning Bay Fishing Trip. We focused on bottom fishing, casting with lures, and bait fishing to target the redfish that frequent these waters. The combination of techniques worked well, and we managed to connect with some redfish during our time out there. These methods are reliable in this area because they cover different parts of the water column and give us multiple ways to present bait to the fish. We wrapped up the morning with some solid action and good times on the water. If you're looking to get out on the water for some quality fishing action, Today We Fish Charter and Adventures has you covered with our 1/2 Day Morning Bay Fishing Trip. We specialize in bottom fishing, casting with lures, and bait fishing techniques that consistently produce results for redfish and other species in these productive waters.
