What a day out on the water! I had the pleasure of guiding Timothy and their crew on a 5-Hour Fishing Trip down here in South Padre Island, TX. June is a prime time for fishing in these parts, with warmer waters drawing in all kinds of gamefish. We met up bright and early at 7 AM and wasted no time getting the lines in the water. We started by working some deep spots, using a combination of jigging and light tackle to target the Spotted Trout. The bite was steady, and it didn't take long before we had our first fish on the line. The crew was loving it, cheering each time someone set the hook. We kept that up for a while, mixing in some drift fishing to cover more ground. The partly cloudy skies and great water conditions made for a comfortable and productive day. Mike and I headed out early morning for some trout fishing action around South Padre Island TX. The partly cloudy skies made for comfortable conditions on the water as we launched our 3 hour Morning Bay Fishing Trip with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures.
