Captain Mario is a great guy. Very friendly and was on time, speaks English well. Overall the trip is cheap and you get what you pay for. Old reels and tackle, no head on the boat, no mate, no frills. We tried many trolling presentations throughout the day (live bait, lures, etc.) but only caught three small skip jack. At the end of the day, we were informed that the bite had not been very good possibly due to the full moon. I would have believed it had I not spoken to another guy from my resort that took a different, much more expensive charter ($1800 USD for six people) and they caught 10 Marlin in 4 hours and asked their Captain to take them back early because they were too tired to fight any more fish. He mentioned they had to travel over 30 miles to get to the shoals in order to catch those Marlin. This is not something that I would have expected Captain Mario to do in such a small boat, so I feel he did the best he could given the equipment he had. If the bite was good inshore near Cabo, I think we would have had a much better catch.

Pricing was good. Tony was very helpful. And i was able to bring the catch of the day in and have it cooked up at a local restaurant. New experience for a northwest fisherman. I would go with them again.
My son and I went out with Jorge and had a blast, the seas were a bit rough but we managed to bring in 6 fish and had a great time. Jorge was awesome, and the music was great as well! :-) would definitely book again.
What an amazing weekend! Fished with Captain Victor for 2 days. This man is a true master of his craft. His finesse for fishing was next level. We caught so much fish thanks to him. (Dorado and Marlin) Everything went according to plan and in a timely manner. Service was exceptional all the way! Don’t hesitate and book these guys! Thanks again!
The bite was slow. Cold water moved in (making the seas green) and keeping the Mahi out. Skipper knew the waters well. Had a nice Wahoo on but but the line. ( no steel leader. Was trying for yellowtail too). We caught a ton of Skips ( threw back) and managed to put 2 nice Bonito on the boat. For a 5 hour fish we got a lot of action. Was a blast
