Had an awesome time out today with Captain Cesar and BlueSea.  We hooked a Mahi Mahi within 1/2 an hour and hooked a marlin a couple of hours later.  Great fun reeling those in.  I’d like to say I did all the work.  But at this time of year it’s hard to get either of those.  Captain Cesar knew what to do though to get them on the line. So big thanks to him and his first mate.

Went on a half day at 12 noon, not really expecting a ton of action. Captain Cesar got us on a Bonita about 15 minutes into the trip. We caught 5 dorado’s in about an hour and a half right after that. You need your own drinks and snacks, and there’s not much storage space on the boat so I suggest Fanny packs or a small backpack. Overall a great experience.

Communication with Johnny was easy. He asked what we were looking to catch and we agreed on a game plan. Caught 2 Roosters and the 2nd was huge! Johnny really showed his experience getting that hog in the boat for pics followed by a smooth release. Caught 2 Dorado and a Yellowtail too! I highly recommend Captain Johnny and BlueSea Sportfishing.

Captain Johnny was very flexible, communicated thoroughly, and used his lifetime of experience to make it an unforgettable day. He is a great guy and we had excellent conversation when we weren’t reeling in a Striped Marlin and a yellowtail or jamming to his fishing playlist. He had a go-pro to capture the highlights. I really couldn’t ask for more.

Thank you Johnny for everything ! We had a great day with Captain Cesar and first mate Ronaldo ! They had us catching fish very quickly and we limited out on Mahi Mahi and also caught a large striped marlin. The Captain was very knowledgeable and seemed to know the right spot to catch fish. If and when I am back in Cabo will certainly book another trip with them.
