I wouldn’t change anything. Keep in mind it’s a small boat, but the captain was awesome, definitely perfect for 2 people. I booked a 5hr morning trip. Captain was in touch with you the whole time before your trip.

I spent an additional $19 for a fishing license. The bait is an additional $20. I brought my own snacks and water. But if you forget theres a little convenient store above the dock.

I was lucky enough to catch a nice Dorado fish and a Bonito. Once we docked the Captain got in touch with a local restaurant right above the dock. The restaurant gutted and cleaned our fish and prepared the fish. I asked the restaurant for some sashimi and other special dishes they offer. Overall awesome experience!

This was my husband and I’s first international fishing trip, and it was great! I want to preface that we were not looking for a “high class” trip/experience, we just wanted to be able to hook and catch fish. If you aren’t familiar with boats, 22ft is a small one—no bathroom in this one which we were aware of, and it’s not fancy—it’s a simple fishing boat, so the price of this trip was more than fair in our opinion. We are both used to being out on the water and my husband fishes locally a lot at home, so this was not an issue for us. Our boat captain, Cesar, was wonderful! He spoke very little English but we were still able to communicate fine. On our trip we caught a tuna and my husband hooked a marlin and fought with it for about 30 minutes before it got away (video attached to review)…still an amazing experience for only being in the water 5 hours! Cesar does not use any sort of fish finder or high tech equipment so we were very impressed that he could operate pretty well without one. I guess that’s what years and years of experience will get you. On our trip we also saw a pod of whales as well as dolphins. Overall we would definitely do this trip again!

Johnny Sanchez and Bluesea Sport Fishing Charters did not disappoint. Capatain ceaser on our 22’ Panga worked very hard to teach us everything we needed to know and about the types of fish and different techniques. We saw dolphins, turtles and stingrays while fishing. He room the time to take us by the Arch for photos. 5 hrs was non stop and we we exhausted from catching fish. After the morning we selected the fish we wanted to eat and captain took them to La Chatita. They the restaurant prepared our fish in 7 different ways with vegetables and mashed potatoes. 2 drinks 2 waters and the entire meal was only $37 US! Would highly recommend this trip!

Easy to book and clear directions for preparation and meeting place within the marina.

The boat isn’t fancy as they point out, but it was safe and comfortable for 2 guests. There was a cooler to keep the beers ice cold, and a small toilet for emergency use should one need; what more does one need?

Cecil was easy to talk to and did his best to ensure he was successful in trying to get us the big one! All in all a great experience with great equipment and service.

Will book again next time visiting Cabo.

My 7 year old said “it was really funanf we caught a HUGE fish!” Now a review from an expert fisherman Captain Johnny was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, worked hard to make sure we caught a fish. He was great with our kid and we came back with dinner! Price was perfect and we had the best morning of our trip.
