Captain Randy was knowledgeable, professional, and put us right on the scallops. He went above and beyond by considering the age of our children and put us in water that was safer for them. He handled all the equipment and had everything ready to go for us. Our family of 6 spent a great day out on the gulf catching scallops with Captain Randy and his crew. The captain and crew were very engaging and made sure everyone was having a good time, the boat was comfortable and in good repair and we caught scallops. My daughter summed it up best when she said “It didnt feel like we hired a guide, it felt like we spent the day hanging out with friends”. I would highly recommend the experience.

When you haven’t done something before, you don’t know what to expect. For us that didn’t matter because the Cap’n & crew knew where to go how to scallop and they assisted us with everything we needed them to. The LFG guys are very friendly and professional. Would definitely book with them again.

We had a great time with Captain Randy and Captain Chad on our scallop charter! They were super knowledgeable and were happy to give us tips- with their help, we were able to limit out on scallops. We also brought our 1.5-year-old and they were so welcoming and good with him too, they let him “help” sort the scallops and he loved it! My family had a great time on our scallop trip today. We almost caught our limit and the captain even let us squeeze in a little fishing on the way in. I would love to go with them again.
