Started at 9.00 am, a little later start than we were used to due to the tides, but this turned out to be perfect. We had a beautiful run out to our first of many fishing spots, where we caught a wide variety of species. Once this spot was exhausted, we headed to the next place. Each time we changed gear and Mike set us up for success. Grunts and red snapper started going into the cooler. It was a very hard day of fishing because the wind was wrong and it was a cold front. But our captain made sure he tried his best to put us on fish and we had a beautiful snook on the line and lost it. Caught some trout and seen many more fish. If they were biting we would have loaded the boat. Captain Mike knows where to find them.
