Fabulous day!!

Full Day Trip – Walk and Wade2 adults

My fiance and I spent the day with Tyler doing some fishing. We had great luck! Caught some large Greyling as well! The lunch was well prepared and weather was perfect. Tyler was a great teacher and guide. A very visual learner helped me get the moves down right. We had such a great time and would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to do some wading fly fishing in AK.

    AWESOME EXPERIENCE

    Half Day Trip – Walk and Wade • 2 adults

    Here’s a polished version that keeps your enthusiasm while making it more concise and professional: My wife and I went on our first-ever fly fishing trip, and it was an incredible experience! Dan was an excellent instructor—patient, knowledgeable, and great at teaching beginners. The fish weren’t biting much that day, but everyone still managed to catch one, which made the experience even more rewarding. The wildlife was just as memorable. We saw a mother moose with two calves, a porcupine, a mother duck with five ducklings, and two bald eagles. The reindeer sausage for lunch was a pleasant surprise and absolutely delicious. Adam, the owner, was outstanding. He answered every question we had and went above and beyond to accommodate my disabilities, ensuring I could fully enjoy the trip. His kindness and commitment to providing a great experience did not go unnoticed. This was an unforgettable adventure, and I highly recommend it to anyone—whether you’re an experienced angler or trying fly fishing for the very first time!

    Great walking / wading trip

    Full Day Trip – Walk and Wade • 1 adult

    The Guide (Sully) was great. He got me on Silver and Chum Salmon at our first stop. He did a thorough job coaching me on fly fishing, how to cast, where to cast for the best presentation, and how to set and land the fish. We had a good time exchanging fishing stories. He took me to another river where he made lunch (Raindeer brats) and to get some Grayling. We were on fish instantly. Highly recommend The Fishound and Sully as a service and guide.

    Dan and Wyatt were very friendly, knowledgeable, and safety conscious. It was late in the season but we still managed to catch a few fish. Their tips for technique were very welcome for us newbies. Great day!

    first time grayling fishing

    Full Day Trip – Walk and Wade • 1 adult

    Really enjoyed the day with Wyatt, nice young man, had good conversation the whole trip and shared photos of fish we’ve caught. We did catch a few grayling and lost a few. I was surprised by how suttle the take was. Also got one very spunky rainbow.

    Wonderful half day on the water with Ryan!

    Half Day Trip – Walk and Wade • 1 adult

    Booked a half day wade trip in early/mid May. I knew it was a bit early and didnt end up catching any fish. Didn’t matter. Ryan, my guide, was great and gave me a few casting tips I can take back with me. He knew what he was doing but the water was just a bit too cold. Would book again!
