I know it’s not the Captain’s fault, but the fish were just not there. He did tell me beforehand that he would have the bait ready, but he didn’t, and he spent a lot of time casting a net for bait. Only five bait fish were caught.  We did catch a couple of sharks, but nothing like we were expecting. Zero fish for the cooler. That was disappointing. Had a great time with Captain Matt! Very cool and relaxed dude! We had an awesome day out on the water. Caught a variety of fish! Me and my uncle caught about 30 sharks within a 3 hour window and it was absolutely awesome! Highly recommend going with Matt! We plan on going out with him again on our next years trip!

This guy’s was great. Very knowledgeable,  tried a variety of places and baits. He was nice to my wife and she’s not a great angler but she caught fish too. Definitely recommend!

Capt Matt was great. We had rainy weather and Matt made the most of your day. We caught 26 fish and every one had a good time. I would book with Matt again on our future trips to Morehead City
