They made it super easy and we had a tight window since we were on a cruise boat. Met Capt Kevin at the dock where shuttle dropped us, and we had a blast caught tons of Salmon, seen whales, bears on the beach, bald eagles, and even sea lions. Everyone caught fish and had a great time!
We had to fish in 2 boats, due to regulations but aside from splitting our group, we collectively had a fantastic experience! We enjoyed talking with the crew and learning about salmon fishing and they said the previous group were catching fish and we would return there. We had salmon in minutes and reached our limit in around 2 hours! Two wonderful captains, who we will remember every time we pull fish from the freezer for a meal!!
We had a great trip with captian Austin. He was there to meet us when we got off the cruise ship. We had a beautiful short ride to our fishing spot and started catching fish right away. Austin was great entertainment between bites and the boat and equipment was excellent. Once we got back to the dock he took care of getting the fish to the processor. Could not have been a more perfect day.
Went to Alaska on a family cruise and stoped in Ketchikan for some salmon fishing! William our captain made our pickup from the cruise ship a breeze. He picked us up right at the ship and we were fishing within 15-20min. Captain William had us catching fish in no time! He was super friendly and made our trip memorable! I highly recommend Alaskan King Charter! Will definitely be using them again!
we booked a 6 hour halibut and salmon charter and although we didnt catch halibut or salmon we did catch 3 other good sized fish and Moses was very knowledgeable, friendly and overall a good time. We want to come back in june and try again and we’ll definitely be using moses again!!!
We booked two boats due to large group. Our group ranged from 20 years to 76. All managed fine. Justin and Kevin were great guides. The guys got both boats on fish and everyone caught something. We got bonus whale sightings and bald eagles too. Everyone had a great time. Bring some snacks. Six hours had most a little hungry.
