My wife and I did a half day with Capt Matt and had an absolute blast. Caught several mahi and enjoyed great weather and beautiful scenery. Capt Matt and his first mate were fun, professional and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend booking a trip on the Lucky Lass!
It's always fun when they're biting
My son and daughter wanted to try salt water fishing. They both have never caught a fish in their lives.. Captain Matt helped my son and daughter catch their first fish. He knew we were all new to fishing and helped walk us through what to do. At the end he took the extra time to take us by a pod o dolfins he saw in the distance, which my daughter was very excited to see. Captin Matt is very knowledgeable about fishing and made the experience special and one we will always remember. He was in contact with me from the second I booked the trip to our morning of fishing. He was punctual and had everything ready to go when we arrived. He is very thorough with saftey on the boat. I would highly recommend Captain Matt and look forward to fishing with him the next time we come to Oahu.

Before we even left the harbor, Captain Matthew was incredibly thoughtful and gave us some motion sickness medicine, which completely saved our day. The North Shore definitely lived up to its legendary reputation. Thanks to Matthew's incredible experience, we landed a beautiful Wahoo (Ono) – an absolute dream come true! The boat was spotless, the gear was top-notch, and the vibe on board was super relaxed. To top it off, Captain Matthew filleted the Wahoo right there on the boat and gave us the whole fish. Absolutely recommend Captain Matthew. I have been in many deep sea fishig trips before and as an experienced fisherman myself I can confidently say that Matthew is the best fishing guide I ever met. During the whole trip he did the maximum in order to catch as many and big fish as possible. Also, Matthew’s music taste and his singing during the ride made the trip even more enjoyable :)

We took the 3hr beginners trip and we had an amazing time! my biggest goal was for my 9yr old son to catch something and within 10 minutes he hooked up on a little blue trevally! We brought in another blue trevally and a couple other fish but the best part was the dozens of dolphins that swam up to our boat! Captain Matt and Gio made this a memorable time for us and i would absolutely recommend this for anyone looking for a quick and easy trip for a great price as well!

Matt and his helper were awesome today, I really enjoy the fact that charters are 3 people max, it makes for an amazing 1:1 experience. No sharing with strangers or waiting your turn. I also love family owned business. Matt was great conversation and a very polite host, his helper did a great at assisting us with fish and getting them into our hands. Overall a great experience and would book again. Cheers!
