We booked this trip with Captain Kyle to kick-start a birthday adventure on the Oregon coast for our 16 year old grandson, who lives in Minnesota and has shown a recent keen interest in fishing. My 13 year-old grandson and I booked this trip as part of an annual vacation. This morning, he had never caught a fish. This afternoon he is basking in the sunlight of success. :-). It was a beautiful day and a wonderful experience for us both. Captain Kyle was patient and personable. He did a great job guiding our group and engaging with us along the way. We are already talking about next year.

Kyle was an amazing guide! We only did a 4 hour morning and he got us all on fish and our limit! Highly recommend!

Kyle set the tone of the fishing trip from the beginning of day with his humor and charm and that allowed all the boat’s passengers to enjoy not only the great fishing but also each other’s company. Even during a difficult situation caused by no one’s fault but perhaps a smart fish all our poles got tangled up and as a team we were quickly able to disentangle them as we already were happy with the tone of the fishing trip.
