I could write a short story about this father/son duo, but I will try to keep it to key moments.
First, booking was easy and communication was prompt before the trip.
Originally myself, my boyfriend, and his 15 year old son had a 1PM reservation, but Eric reached out to me a ciuple of days before the trip to let me know the afternoon fishing hadn’t been as successful and suggested we did 7AM.
Boy are we glad we did!
We caught a fish pretty early on, and then just nibbles for a couple of hours.
This gave us a chance to check out the bay and learn about some historical sights, see some floating lighouses, and just enjoy the ride!
After the obviously well-connected Eric received a call from another captain, we changed locations again and that’s when the magic happened!
It was the last leg of the trip and Eric was DETERMINED to get Beto his Father’s Day fish. Well, one turned into 3 within a short 10-20 minutes!
Once we got back and off the boat, we were greeted by Navy (Eric and Drew’s adorable golden retriever) and gave butt scratches while Eric fileted and packed the fish for us.
This friendly, knowledgeable, and entaining duo will have our business and recommendations for many years to come!

What started as a fishing trip turned into a memory my grandson and I will carry forever. On his first fishing trip, he caught his first fish- and together we landed over 10 rockfish The father and son charter team was truly a hidden treasure: professional,  patient, and fully committed to making sure our trip was not only productive,  but unforgettable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a first-class charter experience.

Our family had an incredible time with Captain Eric and first mate Drew this morning. The boat was fully stocked and ready to go the moment we arrived. Both of them were incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and made sure we had a blast. We walked away with four rockfish and a blue catfish! Highly recommend booking with them—we’ll definitely be back.

I wanted something different for Mother’s Day, and this charter did not disappoint. From a well-appointed craft to a fully educational and FUN day with the family, the entire experience was great from start to finish. Captain Eric was communicative all the way up to our booking and even vaccum sealed our fish on the way out. The kids had a blast, as did my husband and I. I couldn’t recommend this trip enough.

We are a family of four with two boys that booked with Captain Eric and we couldn’t have had a better experience. We’ve been on plenty of other charters and most don’t seem to care about anything except your money. Captain Eric was gracious and friendly from the time he met us in his driveway. Boat was ready to go when we arrived, stocked with all the equipment and bait we needed for the day. Captain Eric put us on the fish right away,  we caught our first fish on the second line we put in the water. Eric was great with our boys teaching them tips and tricks for catching while live lining. When fishing slowed down at our first stop we moved to another area where we resumed catching more fish. At the end of our trip Captain Eric cleaned our fish and even offered to vacuum seal our fillets. Before we left he provided us with information regarding bay conservancy and some Stella Charters swag. The icing on the cake was his Instagram post of our family and fish with the perfect sound track. Thank Again Captain Eric, see you later this Fall.
