I cannot say enough about Capt James and his first mate Ross. I booked this trip mostly for my wife and daughter and our friend and her daughters to get a fun experience on the water. The Captain and first mate put fourth way more effort than I expected in order for us to first get live bait to fish with and then repeatedly moving spots to try and find the fish. It was a beautiful day to be on the boat and out on the water but it came after a couple weeks of bizarre summer weather. We caught some fish, but not nearly what we nor the crew had hoped for. Had a great experience with Shore Thing Charters. The captain and mate were knowledgeable and friendly. They went the extra mile to make sure that everyone in the group had a good day. They tailored the trip for the type of fishing that we wanted to do and were flexible with the weather conditions that came up that day. Will definitely book this charter again.

Awesome day of fishing with Captain James and first Mate Ross - caught enough fish for our Taco Tuesday fish taco night! Boat and equipment was great,  the crew was easy to talk to and always there when reeling in fish or in need of bait. Caught a variety of fish including a couple we had never seen, the coolest being a puffer fish. Great experience.

We had an amazing time with Captain James and his crew member Hunter! They were great with our two young kids — patient, fun, and very attentive. We caught plenty of fish, enjoyed a gorgeous sunset, and our kids had a blast. Our 5-year-old son even asked if we could take Hunter home — that says it all! Highly recommend for families.
