We booked a 3-hour inshore fishing trip at 10:30 AM for 2 adults and 1 child, and overall it turned out to be a fun and memorable family experience. We arrived at the location a little early, but unfortunately my phone had no network connection. Luckily, the booking information included a photo of the captain, so we were still able to recognize and find him without needing to call.

The weather was sunny and quite hot, but once we got on the boat, everything felt exciting. We do not have much fishing experience at all, but the captain made the trip easy and comfortable for us. He helped guide us through the process, so we were able to enjoy fishing without feeling confused or stressed.

During the 3-hour trip, we caught 23 fish in total, mostly white trout, plus one red snapper. For beginners like us, that felt like a very successful trip. Our child also had a great time, and it was a nice family activity that felt different from our usual outings.

One thing I would mention for other families is that the boat had three seats, so it worked for our group, but fishing while standing was a little difficult for me. I tried to stand and fish, but I became very dizzy and ended up getting seasick. Because of that, I would suggest bringing motion sickness medicine if you are sensitive to boat movement.

Also, 3 hours may feel a little long with a child, especially on a hot sunny day. For a similar family with young children, I would probably suggest booking a 2-hour trip instead, or choosing a time slot that is not as hot.

Overall, we really enjoyed this inshore fishing trip. Booking a captain made the whole experience much easier, especially for people who do not have much fishing knowledge or their own fishing equipment. It was fun, simple, and memorable, and we are already looking forward to booking our next fishing trip.

Went out today with my wife and 2 year old daughter and captain cade was the perfect “guide” I put that in “” because when most charter I’ve been on the captains are bossy. Yelling set the hook or which way to tip your rod just constantly nagging. THIS WAS NOT HIM HE ACTUALLY LET YOU FISH!!! He was more like being out there fishing with one of your buddies. Now granted if you had a question or needed a pointer he was there to give it too you but also sat back and just let us enjoy being there and fishing was a great trip fishing for sheepshead also with a bonus 39” red fish!!! This was definitely a trip for the books and would 100% recommend captain Cade to anyone! Thank again cap!!!!! 🎣

Our trip was originally planned for earlier in the week and captain Cade recommended moving it to another day due to weather. trust him he knows best! once we got on the boat we were able to listen to music on the ride out. once we started fishing we started catching red snapper left and right it was a great time. everyone was able to catch several fish. once the bite died down he was able to take us to another spot to finish out our limit. we rode back and he was able to fillet the fish for me quickly before i left. We couldnt have asked for a better day out on the water.

The wind was up and the water was rough on this trip.  Bite was slow to null at first but Captain Cade started trying a different rig and put us on some nice White trout.  We ended up catching a couple of shark, Red Snapper, and many other species. If you want to have a good time abnd catch fish, look up Captain Cade and he will get you on the fish.

I booked this trip for my teen/young adult children who had never been deep sea fishing. Booked the 2 hour trip and they maxed out their catch limits in 45min and got to go shark fishing as a plus. They had a blast. This is a much more laid back charger than some of the big party boats. Captain was ready early and they even got to leave out a few minutes early.
