For my 40th birthday, my wife and I planned a small trip to New Orleans. I was excited for the food and drink of course, but we were more excited at an opportunity to fish waters that were new to us. Melissa (my wife) booked a half day morning trip with Captain Clinton de Armas. Even though it had rained hard the previous day, and we were fighting through some very thick fog, we were able to catch some nice speckled trout, some rat reds, and I was able to hook and land a very nice bull red drum. Needless to say, we were both very happy with the catch. Captain Clinton was very knowledgeable, very fun to be around, and kept the day lively and entertaining. His ability to teach while we fished was great, and even though I’m a lifelong fisherman, I was able to learn a lot from him. All in all, a great experience, and I highly recommend using him for your next fishing trip!
