I booked my trip through FishingBooker and A - Dare Charters with Capt. Dennis. The trip was excellent, Capt. Dennis ask me what I was expecting to catch that day, I said striped bass, blues, and Flounder. First thing in the morning we went jyst outside the bay because of low tide. We went to where the birds were feeding and immediately started to catch bluefish. We caught 12 total of the bluefish. Then once the tide started to rise we headed to the bay bridge to try our luck at the striped bass, had a few hits, but no luck landing. Dennis has everything ready ahead of time, there is no waiting for him to change up your rig. The last part of my trip was drifting for flounder, we caught 2 while we were drifting.

The captain is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the local spots, and he went above and beyond to be accommodating to our group. The best part? Will have to say that A-Dare Charter with Captain Dennis was very much what we expected and more, very knowledgeable and very determined to find us fish, while there were other boats/charters around us fishing we were the only ones hooking up. Thank you very much for going above beyond and putting us on fish. We will see you again. Highly Recommended.

This was the first fishing trip for our party of four and Captain Dennis made it a wonderful experience for everyone. He could tell that we were more interested in just catching a fish and not waiting to catch the perfect fish. He took us to the perfect spots where we caught and released dozens of fish of all different types, which he helped us learn to identify. Everyone had a blast. When we were done with our fishing, he took us on a tour of the bay (which he knew like the back of his hand) and we spotted a herd of wild ponies on Assateague Island—very exciting! Dennis was especially kind and helpful to my son who has autism. He patiently showed him how to use his rod and reel in his fish. What a thrill it was to catch his first fish ever! Dennis made sure that my son felt included and even let him sit next to him behind the wheel while we did our tour through the bay. The boat was comfortable and clean and snack and drinks were provided. We couldn’t have had a better time. Highly recommend!
