We went underway in good weather, but right as we got to the end of the waterway into the ocean the wind picked up, so we settled for fishing by a rock reef for a while. We had an absolutely amazing fishing excursion with Andrew as our captain. From the moment we stepped on the boat, he was kind, helpful, and made everyone feel comfortable and excited for the day. His knowledge of the area and fishing techniques really showed, and his sense of humor kept the trip fun and relaxed the whole time. We got the four-hour trip started trying to catch some red drum and black drum. Things were a little slow at first, so the captain took us farther out to target some other species. We ended up catching so many snapper, sharks, and baitfish that I started saying, “Oh man, another big fish… that sucks!” Needless to say, it turned into a fantastic trip. The captain did everything he could to put us on fish, and it showed. We all had a great time and would 100% go back out with him again.

We booked a Tarpon and Reds trip, and we got Tarpon and Reds, the whole time, big ones!  Captain Andrew of the Salty Goat knows whatsup!

The kids had fun, captain was great. we caught redfish, trout, and shark near shore.
