This was an amaInf trip! Had a 7 hour trip and were skunked for the first 5 hours of it. Captain Michael and crew stayed lostive the entire time and we were eventually able to get two Blue Marlins to the boat. Boat was very well maintained and they even fed us snacks and a hot lunch. Great trip, highly reccomend!
We went out with Captain Maikel, Victor, and Milton 2 times 5/25 & 5/27/2026. 1st trip offshore was amazing, caught 2 big sailfish, and 2 nice big yellowfin tuna and a mahi. 2nd trip was inshore we caught a ton of fish. We caught a several mahi, blackfin tuna, and the highlight was a couple rooster fish. I believe we caught 23 fish inshore. Captain and crew were very attentive and amazing both trips. would highly recommend Rhino Charger.
Captain Mike was fantastic — a great captain who got us on fish right away. Within the first hour we landed a beautiful sailfish, and we had another sailfish shake the hook plus a marlin bite that just didn’t stick. Best of all, we were the first boat of the day to catch a sailfish out of all the boats on the water. Milton and Victor worked nonstop. They were quick to spot fish, hustled to get us into perfect position, and stayed sharp the entire trip. Their teamwork made a huge difference. The boat was clean and well-maintained, the gear was top-notch, and they changed out lures based on the bite. One unexpected highlight was Victor’s mother’s home-cooked food — absolutely amazing and a great touch. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. mike and his crew, milton and victor were awesome! laid back and professional at the same time. it was a bit windy but they still found fish. we booked a full day for 3 people. we caught 3 sailfish and a dorado. the day flew by but we will remember it for the rest of our lives. fishing offshore in costa rica is a bucket list event. if they’re available i highly recommend booking with rhino!

We had a great time! The captain gave us an opportunity to chase the big sailfish, but we came up short. After spending enough time trying, the captain recommended moving locations to put us on fish. We caught several, which the amazing crew cleaned for us. We immediately went to shore and had a local restaurant cook it all up, which added to the experience. The crew worked hard and did all they could to make our experience the best, to include sufficient alcohol hydration, snacks and lunch.

Fishing conditions were tough in the days preceding our trip. While the conditions improved a bit on the 9th, fishing remained difficult. However, our Captain, Michael and his crew, Milton and Victor were not deterred. The result was success with 2 catches, an 85 lb. Sailfish and a substantial Mahi. The captain and crew worked hard to make that happen. They were professional, attentive and courteous. My wife and I would definitely fish with them again!
