Such an awesome Christmas morning outing… Captain Novel was well prepared, the boat was immaculate, and 10 bonitos later - I felt like a champ!! A couple of big ones (for real) got away too!! I highly recommend an adventure with them. Novel even scooped my hat out of the water when it blew off. :)) unrelated to fishing, but worth mentioning is the fresh pineapple was the sweetest most delicious I’ve ever had. Get out and catch a big one!

First trip to Costa Rica and the experience was amazing.  Booked a full day trip through Fishing Booker and the process was painless.  We chose Costa Tamarindo after reading great reviews.  My daughter, son and I met the team on the beach and headed out to the boat. Captain and first mate were great! They got us onto tuna right out of the gate. Brought us a bottle of champagne because I had mentioned it was our honeymoon. They had snacks and beer as well.( typically) went bottom fishing and then onto swordfish. They went a bit longer because we got so close to catching a swordfish several times and were very eager to get us one. We had a great time on our 3/4 trip, it was well worth it and we caught fish when there were other boats around us catching nothing. We even watched a sailfish strike happen, so close to a hook up! I’d like to address some of the other reviews that I think are misplaced. We had Captain Novel and I only speak English.
