Fished with Captain David on the F/V Blitzen multiple times for Giant Bluefin Tuna. Always had an excellent experience. The boat is meticulously maintained and fully outfitted with top of the line equipment for giant fishing. On my first trip with David we headed out near Block Island and were greeted with Giant Bluefin feeding on the surface. It didn’t take long to get tight with one and after an hour long battle we had a 103” giant to the boat! On another trip we were fishing just miles from the RI shoreline and hooked and fought 3 giants before noon and finally landed a 107” jumbo bluefin! Captain David follows these fish throughout the entire season so there was always a game plan before we left the dock.
