You want a captain who won’t give up on your trip, even if you haven’t landed something in the beginning of the trip. Our captain was visibly knowledgeable about what he was fishing for, quirks of fish, and knew how to read the water. He was so much fun to talk to about fishing and learning how to help sight signs of fishing spots in the middle of the ocean. It was a tough fishing day, with a few bites but no solid hook-ups at first, as the fish wasn’t biting properly. However, our captain never gave up and made the experience exceptional.
