We went underway in good weather, but right as we got to the end of the waterway into the ocean the wind picked up, so we settled for fishing by a rock reef for a while. The wind picked up a lot and a storm began to blow in. This wasnโt forecasted and Drew mentioned heโd have canceled had it been in the forecast. We headed back towards the dock and he offered to take us upstream to an inner-coastal waterway where thereโd be less turbulence. We fished there for a while and got to boat back to the dock in an epic downpour. Was a fun 4 hours; we caught what he said was the โbiggest toad fish Iโve ever seenโ and a bunch of small stuff. Drew gave us a catch from the morning so we didnโt walk away empty handed, and it made for great fish tacos. 10/10 would do again.

We had an absolutely amazing fishing excursion with Andrew as our captain. From the moment we stepped on the boat, he was kind, helpful, and made everyone feel comfortable and excited for the day. His knowledge of the area and fishing techniques really showed, and his sense of humor kept the trip fun and relaxed the whole time.

We got the four-hour trip started trying to catch some red drum and black drum. Things were a little slow at first, so the captain took us farther out to target some other species. We ended up catching so many snapper, sharks, and baitfish that I started saying, โOh man, another big fishโฆ that sucks!โ
Needless to say, it turned into a fantastic trip. The captain did everything he could to put us on fish, and it showed. We all had a great time and would 100% go back out with him again.
