I went out on a morning fishing trip with James and wow! it did not disappoint! James was quick to assess what sort of fishing I wanted to do and set to work quick! We had such a fun & successful fishing trip with James, he’s a great captain & fishing guide. My 19y/o son & 8 y/o daughter both had a blast & caught lots of fish. The boat was very nice & had plenty of room for our family of 4. He was quick to help us with our catch & kept fresh bait on all our poles. James is very nice, funny & knowledgeable. He even let my 8 y/o help him filet our fish, she thought that was so cool. We will definitely book James again for our next fishing trip at Lake Conroe.

This was my six year old son’s first fishing trip.  Captain James had us catching fish but even more important, it was a great experience for my son. Captain James was super patient, had great banter and taught my son a ton! I can’t wait until we can head back out with Captain James! One thing to keep in mind, if you are booking for Sunday, there is a weekly tournament that launches from the same marina so there can be a little traffic.
