Very good crew, boat, gear. Fishing knowledge, attempted to get on fish. Fishing slow but they managed to get us 3 nice sized Dorado/Mahi.
caught 3 striped marlin. crew worked hard and were friendly.
Even before the fishing day, communication with the captain was wonderful. I had booked this trip with my mom and two pre-teen sons and had a few questions which were answered extremely quickly. The captain was very straight forward with all aspects, and wanted to cater our trip to our liking, which was wonderful. We chose to chase marlin, right away in the morning we had a very large fish surface and we went after it. It went deep and never chased. We ended up catching a skip jack tuna while trolling with no other takers. After a couple hours, the captain asked if we wanted to try bottom fishing so the boys could catch some fish. We agreed and ended up with 17 tilefish in less than 30 mins. We then shifted back to trolling and saw another marlin, but no luck. The captain and his first mate went way above and beyond trying different baits, presentations, and locations. To me this was a world class experience made possible by Ricardo, our Captain. When we return to Cabo, we will absolutely be booking here again!

Morning started off slow, but the capt and mate never gave up. The mate switched out baits every 45 minutes or so. We didn’t have our 1st bite until about 10:00, unfortunately we didn’t connect. About 20 minutes later we finally hooked up and landed a wahoo they estimated to be 75-80 lbs. after icing our wahoo we were back fishing for about 20 minutes and were hooked up again, this time we hooked up to a black marlin which they estimated to be 250lbs. After a 2 hour fight we finally landed the fish. Great day on the water!
