We caught trout, made some great memories, and had an awesome experience with Captain Cory. Our group included myself, my wife, our 4-year-old son, and my 73-year-old father-in-law, and Cory made sure everyone was comfortable and involved. He even had a fishing rod set up specifically for our little guy so he could join in on the fun, which meant a lot to us. Cory was extremely patient and took the time to explain the proper techniques for fishing the different areas, helping us maximize our chances of success. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and wants everyone on the boat to have a great experience. Highly recommend Captain Cory! We’ll definitely be using him for our future fishing trips. Great captain and an all-around great guy! 🎣🙌

We booked a 1/2 day trip with Captain Cory Russell. Our party was made up of 2 Husband/Wife couples. We were staying at Gulf Waters RV park and the ride to and from including using the ferry was easy and quick. Cory was ready and waiting when we arrived. We quickly loaded up and headed out to the bay. Cory took his time explaining the method we would be using for speckled trout. Keep the pole upright and requires quick twitches of the croaker bait fish. Within 2 minutes we were into the fish. Caught our limit of trout, and a few skip jacks for excitement. We burned through 72 croakers and moved on for some redfish. The reds were slow but my wife landed one and it made for some great fresh blackened fish tacos right next store at the Dorado restaurant. Highly recommend you take your catch there.

We scheduled a half day (morning) charter with Capt. Cory on our family Spring Break trip. We had a mixed group of my sons baseball teammates (four total) with some having fishing experience and some with no experience. Cory was patient and provided advice/feedback on techniques and had an overall great rapport with the kids. The weather was not ideal but he worked hard to get the boys some action and fish. He loves what he does and it comes across with how he is with his clients. We will definitely schedule another trip this summer. Thank you Capt. Cory!

I do a couple guided trips around the country every year and Captain Cory was one of the best guides my family has had. Everything was professional and smooth, everything you want out of a guided trip. He put us on fish and made sure we had a great time. We will definitely be recommending him to friends and family coming to vacation in Port Aransas!

Captain Corey once again a great trip. the determination to put us on fish to catch . as always Captain Corey very knowledgeable and lots of differnt techniques to catch the fish that are being stubborn . we really enjoy each trip we have been on with Captain Corey for the past several years and will continue the tradtion each year we have started with Captain Corey
