  Great Birthday present for my husband!

  Half Day Trip – Inshore on April 4, 2026 • 2 adults

  My husband and I had a great time fishing with Capt. Anthony and Ethan. But first things first. We are very grateful that they were willing and able to accommodate a last minute change in our schedule. That was much appreciated. The fishing trip was a lot of fun. Capt. Anthony and Ethan were gracious and extremely attentive. Not having fished in decades, they took the time to help me with the casts, took care of hooking the bait, and released the fish we caught from the hooks. Our time was spent 100% fishing rather than fussing around with the equipment, bait, and so forth. They knew where the fish would bite, so we changed locations a few times following the fish, with success. Ethan also provided interesting information about the historic city of St. Augustine, which I appreciated. At the end, the captain cleaned the fish and gave it to us in bags with ice. I do not have enough words to express our gratitude. They made this birthday easy, fun and memorable. Thank you Wendy and Erick

  If you're on the fence about booking with Rod Bender Fishing Charters, let me make the decision easy for you: just do it. Anthony and Ethan put together one of the best experiences I've had on the water. These guys are the real deal, friendly, hilarious, and incredibly knowledgeable. They clearly love what they do, and that energy is contagious from the moment you step on the boat. We ended up catching nearly 20 fish, which speaks for itself. Whether you're a seasoned angler or just getting started, they know exactly how to put you on the fish and keep things exciting the whole time. Honestly, I can't recommend this charter enough. We're already planning to come back for a full day offshore trip, and I cannot wait. Do yourself a favor and book these guys. You will not regret it. 10/10.

  Captain Anthony’s Awesome!

  Kingfish and cobia trolling trip on May 10, 2026 • 2 adults

  It was our first time offshore and we’re truing to learn how to do it on our own boat up north. We asked Captain Anthony to teach us how to troll and he went through everything step by step, including the signs of activity on the water and the tackle. He answered every question in great detail and we came out feeling confident we know what to do when we get home. The fish we caught was just a bonus! His boat is also beautiful and comfortable even when we started hitting rough water. Overall awesome trip and I would recommend Captain Anthony to anyone!

  Guys caught SO many fish!!

  Half Day Trip – Inshore - 11:30 AM on September 18, 2026 • 2 adults

  Everything about this trip was five stars: ease of booking, Captain’s responsiveness, boat, gear, fishing spots. The Captain has been in the area for a long time so is very familiar with where the fish usually are. Red snapper, grouper, flounder, red fish, black drum, jack, ladyfish, spade are just some of what was caught. Looking forward to fishing with Captain Anthony again soon!

  My two daughters and I went out with Anthony on an afternoon trip. The three of us had a blast. Anthony is a great guy and great Captain. He knows his boat, the weather, and how and where to catch fish. My daughters seemed to have fish on the line the whole time we were out. He not only kept us catching fish but judged the weather perfectly and got us under cover at the marina before the rain rolled in. We had a great fish dinner that night. Next time we are in town we will certainly look him up.
