Overall, it was a great day on the water. The Capt’s trolling motor broke before we left dock due to a lightning strike a month prior, so we were limited in our method for fishing. Ultimately, we just went near the railroad tracks and tied off with some rope to hang in the current. We caught & kept a monster black drum, 7-8 speckled trout, some croakers, 1 sail cat, and 1 channel cat. Obviously, I would have preferred the trolling motor was operational, but we had a good time nonetheless.

We were lucky enough to spend a full day fishing with Capt. Clinton. We caught fish consistently throughout the day. Capt. Flew all the way out from california with my kids to take them on a trip to catch red fish and black drum, and MAN this Captain did NOT let us down. Caught a bunch of Reds, my son caught his personal best 35 POUND BLACKDRUM. Captain Clinton delivered exactly what we were looking for.  We started the day catching some quality reds and bass.  Moved to another location where we had all 4 lines hook up with fish on multiple times.  Even though the majority were not keepers, reeling in about 70 reds in in a couple hours was the entertainment we were looking for.  Ended the day relaxing, fishing trout and catfish and watching the sunset.  Overall we had an awesome day and look forward to the next time doing it again...
