We caught a lot of fish species on this charter, Capt Burn did great catching live bait, which definitely helped with catching fish throughout the day. But if you like to actively fish, cast with bait and lures, this is not the charter for you. Fishing was a bit slow but the captain moved us around to find the best spots.  He always kept our lines baited so there was no down time. We caught about 10 fish between 4 people. We saw a croc and was amused by a local egret walking around the boat trying to steel our live bait. Bring your own water and be prepared for wind chill on the water in winter months.

captain went out before out charter started and picked up a ton of live prawns which was what i caught my first ever barra on was stoked to catch one. we had a great mixed bag on the boat today, Grunters, black tip reef shark, catfish, baby jew fish, barramundi, and baby GT.

Perfect half day fishing trip with the fantastic captain John! captain John is just a great guy with lots of experience and knolledge and also he is a lot of fun with entertaining stories and tricks up his sleeve. Me and my son had a great day with good fisching and catches. We ended the day with a great meal at the Ochre cooked on the fisch we caught, GREAT! Thank You John for a Day we will remeber for life! Thanks for getting us in last minute when it didn’t work out with another boat. For the short time frame, our Skipper showed us a great time, grabbing the live bait with the adorable local bird whose always there to take the bait tax, and taking us to some fab spots.
