  Amazing Experience With Captain Marco and Crew

  My wife and I had an amazing experience with 787 Fishing Trips. This was our first offshore fishing trip together, and Captain Marco and his crew made it a memorable one from start to finish. As newcomers to offshore fishing, we appreciated how patient, helpful, and knowledgeable everyone was. The mate worked incredibly hard throughout the trip, kept everything running smoothly, answered our questions, and made sure we had a great experience. Captain Marco was professional, friendly, and dedicated to putting us on fish while making the trip enjoyable. He even had a special surprise for my wife at the end of the trip that truly made the day unforgettable. As an added bonus, he shared his ceviche recipe with us, and it was absolutely incredible—some of the best ceviche we have ever had! This trip was about much more than just catching fish. It was a fun, educational, and memorable experience that my wife and I will always remember. I highly recommend 787 Fishing Trips to anyone looking for a first-class fishing charter in Puerto Rico. We will definitely be back!

  Great (family) fishing experience

  Tarpon and Snappers – High Season on April 13, 2026 • 4 adults • 2 children

  We took our two boys (7&9) for a family fishing trip. We are not super experienced but caught many fish and had a great time! Captain Marcos and his first mate were helpful, knowledgeable, and really made sure our trip was special. Marcos worked to avoid rainstorms and find where the fish were biting. We were so happy to learn about the area, the reef, the fish, and his research. Marcos even gave us a recipe and suggestions for “hotel room ceviche” (restaurants that would cook the fish weren’t open that day) and it turned out great! We couldn’t recommend this trip higher and it was a perfect trip for us and our boys. I can only imagine that Marcos would l provide a wonderful trip for more experienced anglers. Thank you so much! We’d definitely book again.

  Caught a delicious lunch!!

  Deep Sea Fishing - High season on April 3, 2026 • 2 adults

  was supposed to head offshore for pelagics but the wind wasnt cooperating so we stayed close. Captain Donovan put us on snapper right away! We brought the fish to an awesome local reatsurant and had one of the freshest lunches i ever had. Delicious! Even learned tnere is a species of barracuda that is a real delicacy (yellow barracuda). so tasty! Learned a lot and had an acrion packed 4 hours! Lastly, inwas given a recommendation for a boat currently catching YFT on thenotner side if the island where we are staying later in the week. looking forward to more excitement!

  Marcos and Victor were absolutely wonderful. My husband and I are not experienced fishers, and they both took the time to teach us what we needed to know to catch at least 20 fish between the both of us. We caught Yellow Snapper, Blue Runners, a Tiny Tuna, and even a Baracuda. Marcos fileted the Blue Runners and Tuna for us on the dock and was prepared with soy sauce for us to enjoy some amazing sushi from our catch for the day. I highly recommend this team. They know exactly where to go to get the fish you are looking for. Thank you both so much!

  Absolutely Outstanding Fishing Experience with 787 Fishing Trip

  This was hands-down the best activity we booked in Puerto Rico. Captain Marcos was fantastic from start to finish, and the customer service was truly exemplary. He is especially amazing with kids and took great effort to make our 10 year old feel comfortable. We booked a 2-hour fishing trip with our 10- and 14-year-old sons, and Captain Marcos, along with his mate who assisted us throughout the trip, made the entire experience fun, engaging, and completely stress-free. His mate was incredibly attentive, helping manage the lines, keeping bait on the hooks, and making sure the kids were set up for success at all times. They both took the time to teach us how to fish specifically for the waters we were in, which made the experience feel authentic and educational. Captain Marcos even added some friendly brotherly competitions, making the trip extra memorable and fun for our boys. We were amazed by how much we caught, five different types of fish, far beyond our expectations, including sharks! At the end of the trip, Captain Marcos cleaned our fish and shared a taco recipe that we’re excited to make later today, a thoughtful and personal touch that really set this experience apart. This charter was professional, family-friendly, exciting, and perfectly run. If you’re considering a fishing trip in Puerto Rico, do not hesitate, you won’t be disappointed. This experience really was perfect, and I highly recommend 787 Fishing Trip to anyone visiting the area.
