The boat was nice, and included high end gear. The captain had collected live crabs for bait the night before and we caught live minnows on they way out. We fished all over the mangroves and the river leading to the Pacific. We caught some nice keepers and at the end, he took us to a spot that was loaded will small sea bass and catfish so that my wife and daughter could catch a bunch of fish as well. although we only caught one fish, we had a fun trip. we enjoyed being in the mangroves and the crew was great.

Our guides Andres and Minor carried their enthusiasm for fishing and the Costa Rican landscape the entire day. They knew and appreciated everything around us and were excited to share it all with us.
