Marty is just the nicest skipper you could ever meet. In spite of the really windy conditions with whitecaps and significant swells,he found some more sheltered spots and I took home some very nice trout. On Marty’s advice, I bought some lemon pepper and Alfoil. My wife and I are sitting recovering after a wonderful trout dinner,washed down with an excellent New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc ( our motel has a barbecue).What a day !  if you visit Taupo, this the trip for you.

The overall experience was excellent, and the skipper was very experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly, which made us feel comfortable even though we were not very experienced anglers. Everything was well organised, and the trip was enjoyable and relaxing. We learned a lot and had a great time on the water. We would definitely come back again if we have the chance. Highly recommended!

Wir als Familie 2 Erwachsene & 2 Kinder hatten einen fantastischen Ausflug! Marty Staines war sehr angenehm und ruhig und liess auch die Kinder „Arbeiten“. 3h waren für uns Anfänger perfekt und wir konnten viele Forellen fangen und auch mitnehmen. Wwürden den Ausflug sofort wieder buchen. Vielen Dank für das tolle Erlebnis!

Excellent trip, Marty knew his stuff… good gear and a no fuss experience around. Onto the fish within 20 minutes of leaving the marina.

The trip is GREAT! Very lucky to get both rainbow and brown trouts, people at next table i restaurant were impressed by our big catch. Marty is super nice and experienced, with his boat clean and organised, full equipped.All you need is just booked his charter.
