Had a blast with Captn Sam. he was able to put us on the fish. Caught Black Grouper, Warsaw grouper, Mutton Snapper, yellow tail snapper, vermillion snapper, yellow jack. Even had a 12’ hammer head follow a bait all the way up to the boat. overall had a great time. highly recommend and looking forward to fishing with sam again!
If you're looking for a family-friendly fishing charter in Key West where everyone actually catches fish, book this trip. It was easily one of the highlights of our vacation. We did a 4-hour trip with three kids (ages 8, 4, and 3) plus grandparents, and our captain was incredible. He was patient, fun with the kids, and constantly making sure lines were baited and fish were coming in. Every single one of the kids caught multiple fish --- even our 3-year-old! The grandparents got in on the action too and had a great time. We caught a great mix of inshore species including mangrove snapper, yellowtail snapper, lane snapper, grunts, and jacks, and the action was steady the whole trip. I even managed to reel in a couple myself. What really stood out was how much he cared about making it a great experience for everyone. He celebrated every catch, helped the kids reel them in, and kept things moving so no one was just sitting around waiting. If you're visiting Key West and want a fishing charter that’s perfect for families, kids, and beginners, but still a blast for adults, this is the captain to book. Brought my son, grandson and friend. Captain is very knowledgeable and knows how to put you on most any variety of fish. He constantly makes sure we had action and keeps things moving at all times. Highly recommend Sam, we will be going again with him in the near future!

Captain Sam was great. We had windy weather, waves and a few hungover members but Sam still put us on some fish. Mutton and mangroves for dinner and a wide variety of others that were fun to catch. He was kind and courteous and very patient with some of our less than professional fishing techniques. 5 stars all day !
