Captain Ritchie was very nice, he welcomed us aboard his boat and treated us like family. The whole trip was easygoing and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. my son and i went out with captain Russel today . its was one of if not the best trip i’ve ever been on . No stress , lots of knowledge . it seem like we was fishing with a long time family friend. The day we went was his birthday and it was like he had rather fish than celebrate . i would highly recommend booking a trip with him , i know I sure will . Our family of five wanted a day on the water and to catch some fish. We caught 12-15 Mackerel (I stopped counting after awhile) then Captain Richie changed out the tackle for some shark fishing. Fifteen minutes later it got real. First my son battled for 20 minutes and then passed it off to me. I only lasted 15 minutes, maybe, and had to give it back to him. My family and I have been on many fishing trips with many guides. Captain Ritchie is one of the best. He was ready to go when we arrived early and had all the bait ready. The cold snap had an impact on our catching fish but we still caught several Sheeps Head and a red snapper that we had to throw back due to season.  He was very helpful and quick to get our lines back in the water.
