Had an amazing time on our guided fishing trip! The water was calm and beautiful, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. Our guide was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable—he answered all our questions and even taught us some new techniques that made the experience even better.

The whole trip was smooth and relaxing, from the pleasant boat ride to having all the gear provided for us. We literally just had to show up and enjoy the day. To top it off, he even filleted our catch for us at the end!

Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fun, stress-free day on the water.

We had a fantastic experience with Lakeside Fishing Service and our captain, Chris, on Lake Lewisville. My seven-year-old granddaughter had been begging me for a long time to take her fishing on a real boat, and Chris made that first experience absolutely memorable.

He was incredibly patient with her, teaching her how to set the bail on the fishing rod, how to bob the lure up and down, and even reminding her to proudly shout “Fish on!” when she got a bite. She took to it right away and has already said she wants to go back.

Chris was just as patient with me and my son-in-law as we asked questions about reeling in bigger fish and learning better techniques. More than once, I had to call him over to help unhook a fish that had swallowed the hook a little too deep, and he handled it quickly and kindly every time.

He kept us moving to different spots around Lake Lewisville to make sure we had the best chance of catching fish, and he definitely delivered. At the end of the trip, he cleaned all of our fish for us.

All in all, it was a great experience from start to finish. Chris was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and made the trip enjoyable for all three generations of our family. Highly recommend Lakeside Fishing Service!

Captain Chris was the best! We arrived late to begin with. Got a speeding ticket! When we got there, welcomed us with enthusiasm.  There were 3 generations on board. My uncle who was a father figure in my life who taught me how to fish and this trip was for him. We all had bets going on from who got the first catch to the most, ultimately ending who caught the biggest! So much fun!

Despite the high wind, I caught lots of crappie snd catfish. Most of the crappie were too small to keep, however it was fun catching them. Captain Chris put me on fish at each stop. This trip is best for solo or a group of various ages. The weather (wind) was not kind to us however Captain Chris kept us on point and task. I would love to go back on a calmer day for a great catch.

My buddy Scott and I booked a trip with Chris on Lake Lewisville for Croppie fishing I could not have been more happy with this choice. Captain Chris is a very nice guy knows what he is doing. He put us on the fish. They were finicky today so that was not his fault everywhere we went the fish were there we caught enough to suit us all I will definitely book another trip with him and I would recommend anyone book a trip with him. You’ll enjoy yourself. It’s a relaxing time and again he knows what he’s doing. Very good company as well. I highly recommend you take a trip with this gentleman. I know I will.
