Jorge, Mich & Ivan were the very best! We did a 4hr trip and caught a nice Crevalle Jack! We came back for more the next day for a longer trip! They were all so helpful and made us feel at home on the boat. They are very knowledgeable and you can tell they love what they do. We caught lots of fish including more Crevalle Jack and Skipjack tuna, but the main star of the show was the incredible 9ft 9in Blue Marlin we landed! First thing I’ll say is, regardless of who you book, if they suggest an additional hour, do it. Mitchell told me that the fishing the day before wasn’t great on the 4 hour tour and suggested extending to get out further and I am glad I did. We pulled in over 20 fish, mostly Bonita, a Skipjack and a Spanish Mackarel. I kept enough fish to feed my family and we only kept monsters. we lucked out with a overcast day, 29 deg in January. we booked an 8hr trip which included deep see, we wanted to catch a sailfish, mahi or rooster. we didnt get nay monsters, but that wasnt for lack of trying. captain Mitchell tried everything he knew, we had 6 lines out majority of the time. We had a great day with Mitchell and Jorge! Jorge worked hard and loves to fish. We got on fish soon after leaving the marina. Small, medium and large Bonita. One right after the other. Our friends had never fished before, and must have thought fishing was easy! This was a top 5 day on the water.
