I took my girlfriend for her 38th birthday to catch some salmon! Captain Zach was the absolute best!! We went on a Saturday morning and there were several other boats out there fishing. I think we saw maybe one of two other boat catch anything… Captain Zach knew how to put us on thr fish! We snagged THREE! One of them was wild so we had to put back, the other slipped away at the last minute but my girlfriend reeled in a 17 pounder!! Such a great experience!!

Was a slow day but it was worth it on my birthday to celebrate turning 40 with my brother. Zach was great, he was communicative about what to do, kept talking with other guides by phone or passing boats asking after colors and would move us around first before others left the area when there was no bite. We were hoping to land some chinook, unfortunately they weren’t cooperative. only a few sightings and one we hooked got away. We decided to switch gears to sturgeon and Zach was very nice to tap into all his resources to put us on a couple of nice sturgeon.

Zach was an amazing caption on our trip unfortunately we had to leave a little early due because my girlfriend wasn’t feeling well and we where only out the for 2 hours but within those two hours we caught 4 giant king salmon and Zach was extremely nice about everything and showed us how to setup and catch these beautiful fish.
